Our Supporters

We rely on the generousity, goodwill and much needed help of the public, organisations and businesses,
up and down the county, to ensure that we can maintain a life-saving service.

LEBBS would not exist without the help of all our supporters… big and small…

LEBBS relies upon…

  • the generousity and goodwill of the public who continue to donate.
  • our fundraising team who visit as part of our funraising activites.
  • organisations who fundraise on our behalf together with businesses up and down the county who help towards keeping our vehicles on the road and our costs covered.

It costs over £50,000 a year just to enable us to operate and the NHS is placing more demands on our services daily (see our latest initiative on delivering Blood Spot Tests).

We appreciate every donation small or large and here are some of those who have helped us out, along with links to their websites.

Previous Appearances and Presentations by LEBBS

Here at LEBBS we very much welcome the opportunity to present to societies, associations, schools and any corporates, where we can talk about all the work that LEBBS carries out.

Here are just some of the key reasons why LEBBS needs supporters, sponsors and donors:

LEBBS relies on sponsors and donors for several crucial reasons, all of which contribute to our ability to fulfill our missions and make a positive impact on the NHS that we love and we serve.

Principally, these reasons are…

Financial Support
: LEBBS needs financial resources to fund our programs, initiatives, and operational expenses. Sponsors and donors provide the necessary funds that allow us to carry out our missions effectively.

Program Funding: LEBBS often run specific programs or projects and outreach to highlight out work and out impact. Sponsorship and donorations enable us to implement and sustain these programs, making a tangible difference in the lives many who have cause to call upon the local NHS.

Resource Expansion: With the support of sponsors and donors, LEBBS can expand our resources, whether it’s through hiring skilled professionals, acquiring necessary fleet vehicles and bikes, equipment, or establishing facilities. This expansion enhances our capacity to make a more significant impact on all our activities.

Awareness and Advocacy: Sponsors and donors contribute not only financially but also by helping LEBBS raise awareness about all that we do… and how much more we want to do ! Your support allows us to advocate for change and influence public opinion on these important issues.

Long-Term Sustainability: LEBBS  require a stable and consistent source of funding to ensure our long-term sustainability. Regular contributions from sponsors and donors provide the financial stability needed to plan and execute sustainable programs over an extended period.

Flexibility in Response: Having a pool of sponsors and donors gives LEBBS the flexibility to respond quickly to emerging needs or unexpected challenges (e.g. Baby Blood Spot Testing). This agility is crucial in addressing dynamic NHS issues or responding to crises (e.g. the movement of bloods for RTA’s).

Innovation and Growth: Sponsors and donors can help LEBBS in exploring innovative solutions and fostering growth. This backing allows us to continually improve our impact and effectiveness and out strategic planning.

Community Engagement: LEBBS thrives when we are embedded in and supported by our communities. Sponsors and donors contribute to building a strong community network around any charity, fostering collaboration and a shared commitment to social change.

Diversification of Revenue Streams: Relying on a variety of sponsors and donors helps LEBBS diversify our revenue streams and minimise ‘charity fatigue.’ This diversification reduces dependency on a single funding source, making charities more resilient in the face of economic uncertainties.

Scaling Impact: The support of sponsors and donors enables us to scale our impact, reaching more individuals, communities, or health service needs. This scalability is vital for us seeking to address large-scale needs.

In summary, you are the lifeblood of LEBBS – providing the financial and community support necessary for our existence and effectiveness.

The collaborative efforts of all our supporters ensures that we can deliver a consistent and reliable service to our much loved and over-stretched health service.
